My foot's pain is gone (has been for a week or so) so I went and ran today. For awhile I was close to just calling it quits and not run competitevly anymore but then 5 minutes into the run I started to remember why i ran in the first place and why I want to coach it. Basically it was a slap in the face for even thinking about quitting...i needed it.
I was going to go run for 4ish but around close to the third mile I had the urge to use the restroom so i had to stop and walk the rest...sucked
TOP 10 Reasons why i run
10. The look on peoples faces when you tell them you just ran 10 miles for fun
9. The high you get after finishing a long run or a good race
8. The Nature that surrounds you while you run
7. When jackasses honk at you and call you some sort of name thinking there putting you down but in reality just making me run faster
6. Getting to help other people with running (which is why I want to coach)
5. Meeting someone else who runs and then talking to them for days about their training and shoes and what not
4. Fartleks are so fun to do...especially in the morning
3. Running down the home stretch and passing up people left and right
2. The moment after running a PR is one of the best feelings EVER!!!!
